Purpose:
Support Manager, Planning by continuously enhancing key performance indicators to ensure that products are delivered according to (or exceeding) customer expectations and with the best possible LO and factory performance. Play a lead role in facilitating continuous process improvement requests in conjunction with WCSC projects to increase overall LO and factory efficiency and enhance End to End Planning performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with Global Supply Planning Footwear, T1 and T2 suppliers, Forwarders, Transport & Logistics, and all other departments to continually improve the quality of communication (in regards to order confirmation, production and shipping arrangement) and provide efficient and effective solutions to the changing demands from the customers.
Work closely with LO and factory team members on continuous improvement tools to ensure: (1) all sourced products are planned and delivered according to customer demands; (2) overall planning process, priorities, policies, and standards are executed with the Voice of the Customer in mind; (3) factory relationship is maintained; and (4) services level and skills are continuously upgraded.
Play a lead role in representing LO/factory to Global Project Leaders/System Champions on WCSC projects. Responsibilities include but not limited to (1) collect and communicate business users feedback into the project planning stage, (2) participate in pilot/simulation, (3) provide training to the LO/factory, and (4) transfer knowledge to Operation Centre staff once project phase is concluded.
Balance customer requests and factory constraints by managing expectations from both sides to ensure a higher success rate on global or self initiated projects.
Be fully aware of factors likely to impact LO/factory stakeholders' buy-in of the assigned projects and work with the Head of Supply Planning to on communication plan to get proper support.
