Due to the rapid business expansion in China, we are seeking enthusiastic and capable candidates to take the following positions:
COMPLIANCE OFFICER, SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS
This Zhuhai based position should report to the South China Area Manager. The main responsibilities will include:
-Support the Area Manager in the execution of Standards of Engagement (SOE) and related policies, projects and work programs.
-Identify the areas of greatest risk to adidas Group in respect of working conditions and standards in supplier facilities. Provide to the Area Manager recommendations in respect of those risks, based on legal obligations and SOE requirements.
-Audit supplier facilities and develop SOE action plans to ensure compliance with the SOE. Assist suppliers by advising on options, negotiating timeframes, and helping management to identify the necessary expertise and materials for achieving full compliance.
-Provide regular SOE training to adidas Group staff, and to management and SOE teams in supplier facilities.
-Engage in dialogue with third parties, including NGO’s, government bodies and professional institutions to further the goals and transparency of the SOE program.
Requirements:
-University Degree in, Human Resource Management, Law, Human Rights, or a related field
-Understanding of the manufacturing industry
-Previous experience with social, labor compliance systems and auditing, or human resources management systems are the key requirement for the job
