PURPOSE:
Support the Head of Supply Planning by managing the entire planning process of the assigned product categories and factory(s) to ensure that products are delivered according to (or exceeding) customer expectations and with the best possible LO and factory performance.Continously improve self and factory team's accountability and efficiency level to enhance and sustain overall performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Global Supply Planning Footwear, T1 and T2 suppliers, Forwarders, Transport & Logistics, and all other departments to continually improve the quality of order confirmation, production and shipping information and provide efficient and effective solutions to the changing demands from the customers.
Work closely with factory personnel to ensure: (1) all sourced products are planned and delivered according to customer demands; (2) overall planning process, priorities, policies, and standards are well understood and executed with the Voice of the Customer in mind; (3) factory relationship is maintained; and (4) personal accountability and skills are continuously upgraded.
Execute and sustain a high performance level for the assigned "value added service" initiatives (SHAS, ILA, S&P, Weight & Volume, Labels, SLP, Transportation, etc...). Ensure that performance issues and proposed solutions are escalated to the responsible project owner on time to minimize any possible impact to delivery, quality, and cost.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning
Identifies monthly / seasonal factory capacity requirements based on customer demands and proactively provides input in sourcing decisions
Communicates to Global planning any significant problems in meeting confirmed shipment dates and ensures that the integrity of established priorities is maintained.
Handle customized SLP projects and provides solutions to supply chain issues
