Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
Ensures smooth IT operations within Liaison Office and Operations Centers in the framework of the Global IT policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Management / Administration
Supervises LO IT Coordinators and OC IT Support (currently external)
Manages IT activities within the country. Assists in establishing career paths for IT staff
Based on business requirements, provide cost effective and fit-for-purpose IT solutions
Ensures IT staff is fully trained with adidas procedures and processes. Manages training programs to continually maintain and enhance staff skills
Prepares consolidated IT budget within the country and aligns with regional
Manages administrative functions for all LO and OC IT support staff, including but not limited to vacation, training and sickness
Ensures proper and timely communication to business departments and Global IT
Infrastructure / Operations
Maintains smooth daily operation of IT infrastructure
Ensures ongoing support for Core Services including File, Print, Messaging, Active Directory
Supervises hardware and software installation in line with corporate and regional direction
Ensures a virus free environment
Ensures data and system security is in line with corporate direction
Governs IT policies, procedures and standards for country in line with Global IT direction
Ensures proper IT documentation on (1) change management, (2) operation control book, (3) incident and problem management, (4) IT equipment list, (5) license registration
Ensures all hardware is covered by proper maintenance agreements
Works with Global IT to ensure reasonable network performance at each supplier/factory and any remote office
Application Support
Supervises IT Coordinators to provide technical support and advice to users
Organizes regular user training on various applications and software packages
