Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
-To co-ordinate the development process within a specific range of products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Product:
?Ensures all products are developed in accordance with the design and specification requirements detailed by headquarters while maintaining an emphasis on performance and integrity.
?Is aware of adidas brand mission.
Operations:
?Updates all development tracking reports including samples, tooling etc.
?Works with factory and suppliers to coordinate the timely delivery of wooden/PU mockups, materials, samples and components to appropriate persons.
?Is able to co-ordinate the development tasks with other members of the team.
?Has a good understanding of supplier timelines (eg. molds, lasts, components delivery) and plans projects with respect to these timelines.
?Is able to work within the development timelines without compromising product quality and design integrity.
?Understands all adidas development policies.
?Provides support in the timely delivery of samples of the highest standard in the industry at all stages of development (ILR, FLR, Previews, IES test shoes, Salesman samples, MCS); thoroughly inspects samples to ensure they meet required quality standards.
?Assists in informing factory personnel about various policies (regarding shipping, packaging instructions) as they are updated by headquarters; acts as a liaison between adidas and factory personnel.
?Supports the Development Supervisor in co-operating with the Development Administration Department to expedite the necessary administrative project work.
?Ensures keeping samples are regularly updated.
?Is able to co-operate and communicate well with an internationally diverse group of colleagues in the LO offices and in headquarters; is able to work closely with manufacturers.
Requisite Education/Experience:
?At least one year working experience.
?Basic IT
