Coonercialization Manager - Footwear Fashion

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•Ensures all Footwear products are developed in accordance with design and specification requirements as detailed by headquarters.
•Understand the design direction of the product in terms of target consumer, style, fit, quality needs and cost targets.
•Works with manufactures and suppliers in continuous upgrades of technical applications and processes based on given specifications and headquarters direction.
•Is an innovative source of ideas to development and design through working with related vendors and manufactures; assists the Dev/Comm Manager in the development and implementation of new technology.
•Is aware of trends in footwear materials, fit and style which are appropriate to adidas brands through regular attendance at trade fairs.
•Ensures product quality by working closely with factory production team and leading inspections.
•Works closely with the materials and lab teams to ensure all materials are lab tested and A-01 certified.
Operations
•Is able to work within development timelines without compromising product quality and design integrity.
•Understands and implements all adidas development policies.
•Ensures that tech packages received include all the necessary information required to facilitate product development.
•Has a good understanding of supplier timelines and ensures that these delivery timelines are respected.
•Works closely with agent to ensure shipping timelines for samples and production are clear and met.
•Ensures that an efficient development tracking system is in place and all the reports are regularly updated.
•Works closely with Project Management team and regularly communicates the status of projects.
•Is able to co-operate and communicate
