Purpose / Key Responsibilities:
Engineer the layout of Printed Circuit Boards [high-speed (>2.5GHz) digital, LVPECL, LVDS differential pairs, DC Power Supply, ADC, DAC, Analog, FR4 and Kapton]
Drive Component Library generation, PCB layout (Placement and Routing, Layer Stack-Up, Trace Impedance calculation), Documentation Control, Manufacture support, and Production release of the design.
Collaborate closely with the Electro-Mechanical Engineering teams, PCB manufacturers and assembly houses for quick and quality product development and guarantee product manufacturability and testability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the Electro-Mechanical Engineering team with project test and development.
Propose solutions, prove concepts, evaluate new technologies and design trade-offs.
Design circuit boards that contain analog/digital, video/audio, and high-speed communication circuit.
Specify and design of high-speed signal paths and peripheral support circuits as need (DC power supplies, reference voltages, regulators, A/D, D/A etc.)
Create and update design documentation, such as functional specifications, layout instructions, reports, test plans and rework instructions.
Board level debugging and testing, system integration, reliability analysis, EMI/EMS/RFI/ESD testing.
Communicate and follow up ait technology electronic components & systems projects at suppliers, to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency and quality and; assist the Manager, Electro-Mechanical Engineering in coordinating successful development and execution of electronic projects.
Support ait, Electronic & QA Engineers, Global Quality, LO Management in establishing quality assurance guidelines and test procedures of electronic systems together to effectively evaluate & monitor the quality & reliability characteristics of the electronic segments of the products and their impact on comfort, performance and protection (lab, wear tests)
