POSITION PURPOSE: This person's primary objective is to grow China 3rd party sales, with a specific focus on branded sales which include the electronic brands under Schroff umbrella and Industrial brands under Hoffman umbrella. The Director of Market Development will retain direct-line management of the local OEM sales, and dotted-line management for the Qingdao program management group, contributes actively in managing strategic global OEM business. The Director is the lead Sales & Marketing person for Technical Products China, and should steer customer relationships and 4P definition accordingly.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Grow sales organically
2.Participate in due diligence and integration of acquisitions
3.Build and develop the team to ensure growth.
4.Drive geographic expansion by setting up new sales offices and actively working with MA on acquisition projects
5.Give strategic directions of brand management related to 4P
6.Drive localization for key products
7.Communicate Strategy up and down the organization
8.Encourage adherence to the Pentair Code of Conduct
9.Help individual reports with career development and growth
10.Communicate with PNR global entities on global projects, strategic customers, ensure long term success of design in projects in China
